Summary

Hmm…Classic Superman stands out in the One:12 Collective line for its hyper-realistic design, featuring a vibrant blue suit and iconic accessories like the Bottle City of Kandor and ricocheting bullet effects that attach magnetically to his chest emblem. While it introduces a unique take on the character, criticisms arise regarding the non-fabric trunks, which some feel compromise the figure's classic aesthetic and articulation. Nevertheless, the figure remains a notable representation of Superman, embodying both nostalgia and a modern collector's appeal.

Pros!

  • Includes two highly detailed, interchangeable head sculpts (standard and heat vision)
  • Extensive accessories including a bottled City of Kandor, Kryptonite meteorite, bendable posable chains, and magnetic ricocheting bullet effects
  • Realistic fabric uniform and cape with sculpted chest logo and belt
  • Hyper-realistic facial paint and sculpt, including soft shading and distinct hair curl
  • Flight stand with cape and chain posing clips for dynamic display
  • Bendable metal-wire chains allow multiple posing options, including wrapping or breaking poses
  • Magnetic bullet effects add comic dynamic to chest logo

Cons!

  • Thick, hard chest emblem with magnets does not sit flush and can catch or feel fragile when posing
  • Vinyl-like, stiff trunks limit hip articulation and range of motion
  • Limited ankle pivot and torso articulation partly due to costume restrictions
  • Heat vision head lacks eyebrows, leading to a visually odd appearance
  • Figure height is shorter than expected, smaller than comparable Mezco figures like Flash and Shazam
  • Cape posing clip system is fragile and difficult to use without risking damage to cape fabric
  • Slight paint imperfections visible on close inspection, especially around chest emblem edges
