Pros!
- Four interchangeable heads including classic, modern, realistic roach, and a black skull mask option, offering diverse display possibilities.
- Superior articulation thanks to the use of the Spider-Man body, allowing for dynamic poses and movement.
- Well-tailored dapper suit with a removable trench coat featuring a wired belt for customizable poses.
- Unique Mezco-branded high-top sneakers with detailed paint, sculpting, and magnetic soles for accessory attachment.
- Extensive accessory pack includes a breakdown sniper rifle, Cosmic Pea-Shooter blaster, a stylish sword with sheath, Doom Cocktail grenades, a functional boom box for weapon storage, and a sticker sheet.
- Fourteen interchangeable hands designed for various weapon grips and gestures, enhancing playability.
- Includes a hoverboard with magnetic attachment, adding a fun element to the figure’s display options.
- Collector-friendly comic book included, expanding character lore and hinting at possible future variants.
- Articulated antennae on heads allow for additional posing options, enhancing the insect theme.
Cons!
- Rifle’s scope and parts can be fragile and may detach easily during posing.
- Tie does not hang straight, which some may find annoying, though it’s considered a character trait.
- Ankle articulation is limited due to the design of the high-top sneakers, restricting movement.
- Neck sculpt is specific to the insect theme, making head swaps with other Mezco bodies difficult without modification.
- Oversized black skull head limits realistic display options.
- Some small accessories like the skateboard were not included in the Toy Fair exclusive release, despite being advertised.
Product Info
From the boxProduct Description
Prepared for any inter-dimensional mission, this insecta-sapien of mystery comes complete with an impressive arsenal consisting of a takedown “construct-rifle” that forms several weapons and conceals neatly in his boom box sidekick, Boom Boom. Also included are his trusty Cosmic Pea-Shooter, a small blaster pistol with a big kick, the Zip-Sword with sheath and adjustable cross-body strap, and two Doom Cocktail grenades.
Dapper in his 2-piece suit, the Mezco Toyz mascot comes with a removable trench coat with an integrated posing wire in the belt. If that wasn’t enough, Gomez includes three interchangeable heads: his classic look, an updated modern look, a roach head, and a skull because skulls are always fun!
Gomez, sole operating agent of The Void, receives instructions by a combined subliminal broadcast and interface with his boom box, Boom Boom.
