Pros!
- Unique gray skin tone and body color evoke a classic black-and-white samurai aesthetic.
- Nicely tailored kimono with a removable haori and detailed stitching enhances the overall design.
- Exceptional articulation allows for dynamic samurai poses, aided by the kimono’s design.
- Includes a scarf with integrated posing wire for dynamic display options.
- Features a posable micro Grub figure that fits into an adjustable backpack.
- Customizable Boom Boom boombox with included sticker sheet adds fun to the accessory set.
- New styled hoverboard with magnetic foot attachment and unique design complements the samurai theme.
- Hand-painted detailing on multiple interchangeable head portraits and hands (14 total) provides variety.
- Red sneakers provide a modern touch that contrasts with the traditional attire.
Cons!
- Accessory selection feels somewhat light despite its variety.
- Preference for traditional ninja/samurai footwear over red sneakers may not appeal to purists.
- Slightly baggy look of the haori may not suit all display preferences.
Product Info
From the boxProduct Description
Outcast and disgraced by false accusations, Gomez is forced to follow the path of an assassin. Together with Boom Boom and Grub, a toddler clone of himself, they seek revenge in the name of The Void.
The One:12 Collective Gomez: Lone Roach is outfitted in a kimono, hakama, removable waist belt, and removable haori. A swordsman of inter-dimensional legend, Gomez comes complete with both a short and long katana with sheaths that tuck neatly into his waist belt, and a Zip Sword and sheath with cross-body strap. Gomez is never without his boom box sidekick, Boom Boom, which is customizable via an included sticker sheet.
Small but powerful, Grub is a fierce ronin warrior. He fits in Gomez’s backpack with adjustable straps and hook-and-loop closure. The duo travel via hoverboard, which magnetically attaches to Gomez’s feet.
Included is a 14” x 10” poster depicting Lone Roach & Grub as they walk the lonely path of the masterless samurai.
Receiving instructions via a combination of subliminal broadcasts and interfacing with his trusty boom box sidekick, Boom Boom, Gomez is ready for any inter-dimensional mission. What adventures lie ahead? You decide.
