Summary

The X-Men Deadpool figure stands out as a unique variant due to its blue and yellow costume, which is a rare depiction of the character that reflects a specific moment from the comics where Deadpool temporarily joined the X-Men. This exclusive release features enhanced sculpting and a variety of accessories, including two head portraits and multiple interchangeable hands, making it a standout in terms of detail and versatility within the One:12 Collective line. While the soft goods costume has received mixed reviews for its aesthetic, the figure remains a notable addition for collectors, particularly those who appreciate Deadpool's more whimsical and less traditional appearances.

History
Deadpool dons this suit in Cable & Deadpool Issue #9, "The BURNT OFFERING Part Three -- When the Whip Comes Down" published in 2011. Deadpool wanted to match the X-Men as a condition of him helping them. They're teaming up to go after Cable, who's losing his mind. The issue only really shows Deadpool in this "Bluepool" suit a handful of times. Don't read the screenshots if you don't want spoilers.

  • Excellent sculpted details, especially on the boots and head portraits.

  • Soft goods costume adds a unique texture, enhancing the figure’s overall appearance.

Cons

  • Soft goods costume may appear loose-fitting, resembling pajamas rather than a fitted superhero outfit.
