Dork Lair found the Crimson Cranium 2-Pack's glossy eyeballs in the skull head sculpt particularly unique.
Pros!
- Includes two distinct alternate heads: a crimson fleshless skull with glossy yellow eyeballs and a masked ninja-style head with matte gold eyes
- Different shades of red on the two heads provide varied display options (crimson vs. bright red)
- Both heads designed to match existing figures, especially those with red-themed costumes
- Good value at $15 for the pair compared to typical aftermarket head prices
- Compatible with multiple figures for head swaps, enhancing customization options
- New paint applications add an eye-catching effect to familiar head sculpts
Cons!
- Some fitment issues when swapping heads on certain figures, such as heads sitting high on necks or being less stable with some accessories
- Minimal packaging with no protective clamshell or display box
- Additional shipping cost is relatively high for the small size of the package
